Ciao! I’m a Seattle native who packed up and moved to Europe in 2019 with my husband, chasing adventure one road trip at a time. While we’ve explored many incredible places, Italy kept calling us back – it’s where we felt most at home.
After welcoming our daughter while living abroad, we knew there was no better place to set down roots than Italy. We found our dream fixer-upper in a charming small town in Abruzzo, where we now live while continuing to explore every hidden corner of this beautiful country.
Through years of slow travel and road-tripping, we’ve uncovered an Italy beyond the guidebooks – quaint countryside villages, breathtaking nature escapes, and, of course, incredible food destinations.
We believe the best experiences come from immersing yourself in the culture, wandering off-the-beaten-path, and letting curiosity (and sometimes a good plate of pasta) guide the way.
