Originally from Nantucket, Massachusetts, I came to Italy to get a Master's degree at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Piedmont. What was supposed to be ten months turned into over ten years. The food, sunshine, and slower pace of life made it hard to leave!
After my studies, I lived and worked in Sicily at a renowned cooking school for eight years, where I learned as much from daily life and shared meals as I did from the kitchen itself. That experience shaped the way I approach travel: curious, community-focused, and centered around the table.
Over time, my path led me north to Liguria, which I now call home. Along the way, I began hosting tours with Untold, guiding guests through Italy in a way that’s thoughtful, immersive, and rooted in real connection. I also work as a life coach, trip consultant, and still keep my toe in Sicily at the cooking school.
I love helping others discover Italy’s everyday beauty, its generosity, and its deep love affair with food and community.
