Italy is more than a checklist of famous sites, jaw dropping views and delicious dishes. The Untold Italy travel podcast exists for people who want all of that but who also want to go deeper.

Each week, host Katy Clarke and guests take you beyond the famous piazzas and into the Italy that does not show up on page one of Google.

Regional food and wine. Towns that have no business being that beautiful. Local stories that stay with you long after you get home.

With over 5 million listens and 300 episodes recorded over six years, this is one of the most listened-to Italy and travel podcasts in the world. Whether you are deep in the planning stage or just dreaming from your sofa, you are in the right place.

Practical Italy trip planning.

How to get around. When to go. Where to stay. What not to order in Venice. Real advice from someone who has been going to Italy for years and made all the mistakes so you do not have to.

Off the beaten path Italy.

The whitewashed towns of Puglia. The hill villages of Umbria. The Dolomites in all their drama. If you want to get past the crowds and into something more real, this is where you start.

Local experts and insider knowledge.

Our show features local people (mostly women) who live, cook, guide and breathe Italy as well as fellow travelers who share their experiences traveling Italy.

Katy Clarke – Founder, Untold Italy

Katy has spent the last six years doing one thing: helping people fall in love with Italy her favorite way – by talking to people.

She is the founder of Untold Italy, host of the Untold Italy travel podcast, and the kind of person who will spend three hours driving through the Puglian countryside to find the best burrata you have ever tasted. Over 300 episodes and 5 million listens later, she is still finding new reasons to go back to Italy.

Katy started the podcast in 2020 and has since built Untold Italy into a full travel brand — with small group tours, trip planning consultations, and a travel app.

Her approach is simple – travel your way, reach beyond the checklists and embark on your own Italian adventure. Listen now to open the door to your Italy.
